In line with the advancements in technology and the growing use of Generative AI (GenAI) in research, the International Journal of Management, Economic, Business and Accounting (IJMEBA) acknowledges the role of GenAI tools in enhancing the quality and efficiency of research. The use of Generative AI in submissions to this journal is permitted under the following guidelines:

  • Purpose of Use: Generative AI may be employed for data analysis, simulation, and synthesis of research findings, as well as for improving the presentation and visualization of results. It can also assist in text processing tasks such as summarization and language refinement.

  • Transparency: Authors are required to clearly disclose any use of Generative AI tools in their research process. This includes detailing the specific tasks performed by AI and ensuring that the use of AI does not compromise the integrity or authenticity of the research.

  • Ethical Standards: The use of Generative AI must adhere to ethical guidelines ensuring that the AI’s role does not lead to data manipulation, plagiarism, or the misrepresentation of results. AI-generated content should not replace the intellectual contributions of the authors. GenAI tools cannot be used as authors in scientific journal manuscripts.

  • Responsibility: Authors remain fully responsible for the content of their submissions, including any output generated by AI. AI tools should support the research process but cannot substitute for human judgment and expertise.
