Article Processing Charges (APC) and Waiver Policy

Submission Fee

IJMEBA does not charge any manuscript submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts to the journal without payment.

Submission Fee: USD 0

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The International Journal of Management, Economic, Business and Accounting (IJMEBA) is an open-access journal. To support the costs associated with editorial administration, manuscript processing, copyediting, layout production, DOI registration, digital publication, website maintenance, and long-term journal management, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only to manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication.

Article Processing Charge (APC): USD 56 per accepted article.

No payment is required during manuscript submission, editorial screening, or peer review. Authors will receive payment instructions only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Editorial Independence

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. The ability or willingness of an author to pay the APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication.

All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the aims and scope of IJMEBA. All eligible manuscripts remain subject to the journal's editorial screening and double-anonymous peer-review process.

IJMEBA does not offer paid fast-track acceptance, guaranteed publication, or any other payment-based editorial privilege.

APC Waiver Policy

IJMEBA recognizes that publication charges may constitute a financial barrier for some authors. The journal therefore provides APC waivers under specific circumstances.

  • Full Waiver (100%): Authors from countries classified as Low-Income Economies by the World Bank may request a full APC waiver.
  • International Outreach Waiver: IJMEBA may provide a full APC waiver to eligible international authors participating in an official journal internationalization, institutional partnership, or editorial outreach program.
  • Institutional or Special Program Waiver: A full or partial waiver may be provided under an officially approved cooperation agreement, special call for papers, or scholarly partnership program. Any such waiver will be stated transparently in the relevant announcement or invitation.

Waiver eligibility does not influence peer review or editorial decision-making. Waiver administration is handled separately from the academic evaluation of the manuscript.

Authors requesting a waiver should contact the Editorial Office at editor.ijmeba@xjurnal.com. Where applicable, the request should include the manuscript ID and the basis for the waiver request.

No Additional or Hidden Charges

IJMEBA does not impose additional mandatory submission fees, review fees, page charges, color-figure charges, DOI charges, or publication certificate fees beyond the APC stated above.

Any optional service that may become available in the future will be clearly identified as optional and will not affect editorial decision-making.

Open Access and Copyright

Payment of the APC does not transfer copyright from the authors to the journal or publisher. Authors retain copyright to their published work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing reuse and redistribution with appropriate attribution.

Effective Policy

This APC and waiver policy applies to manuscripts processed for publication under the current IJMEBA publication policy. Any future changes to the APC will be announced transparently on the journal website before they take effect and will not be applied retrospectively to manuscripts already formally accepted under a previous fee policy.
