Direct Marketing and Academic Outreach Policy

Purpose

The International Journal of Management, Economic, Business and Accounting (IJMEBA) may undertake limited and targeted academic outreach to communicate legitimate scholarly information about the journal.

Such activities may include the dissemination of calls for papers, newly published articles, special-topic announcements, academic events, reviewer invitations, Editorial Board invitations, institutional cooperation opportunities, and other information directly related to the journal's scholarly activities.

Principles of Direct Marketing

All direct marketing, academic outreach, and manuscript-solicitation activities conducted on behalf of IJMEBA must be:

  • appropriate to the scholarly purpose of the journal;
  • well targeted to individuals or institutions with relevant academic interests or expertise;
  • unobtrusive and limited in frequency;
  • truthful and factually accurate;
  • transparent regarding the identity of the journal and publisher; and
  • not misleading regarding editorial decisions, fees, indexing status, publication timelines, or journal standing.

Manuscript Invitations

IJMEBA may invite researchers whose scholarly expertise or publication record is relevant to the journal's aims and scope to consider submitting manuscripts.

An invitation to submit a manuscript does not constitute an acceptance decision and does not guarantee publication.

Invited manuscripts are subject to the same requirements as unsolicited submissions, including:

  • editorial and technical screening;
  • scope evaluation;
  • publication-ethics requirements;
  • similarity screening;
  • double-anonymous peer review;
  • revision requirements; and
  • independent editorial decision-making.

APC Waivers and International Outreach

IJMEBA may offer Article Processing Charge (APC) waivers as part of an officially approved international-author outreach, institutional partnership, or scholarly-development program.

Any APC waiver offered through an invitation concerns only the financial charge and does not confer preferential editorial treatment. Waiver eligibility does not influence peer review, manuscript evaluation, or acceptance decisions.

Reviewer Invitations

The journal may contact qualified scholars to invite them to serve as peer reviewers when their expertise is relevant to the subject areas covered by IJMEBA.

Reviewer invitations do not create an obligation to accept assignments. Reviewers may decline invitations because of workload, subject relevance, conflicts of interest, or other professional considerations.

Editorial Board Invitations

IJMEBA may invite qualified scholars to be considered for membership of the Editorial Board based on academic expertise, publication experience, professional standing, journal needs, and potential contribution to the journal's scholarly development.

Editorial Board membership does not provide preferential treatment to manuscripts submitted by the member or their colleagues and does not guarantee publication.

Communication Channels

Academic outreach may be conducted through appropriate professional and scholarly communication channels, including institutional email, publicly available professional academic contact information, professional networks, scholarly platforms, conferences, research communities, and institutional partnerships.

IJMEBA does not intentionally use deceptive identities, misleading subject lines, false indexing claims, fabricated urgency, or promises of guaranteed publication in its communications.

Frequency and Recipient Choice

IJMEBA seeks to avoid excessive or repetitive unsolicited communication.

Recipients who do not wish to receive further direct journal outreach may inform the Editorial Office, and reasonable steps will be taken to avoid further non-essential promotional communication to that recipient.

Editorial Independence

Marketing activities, manuscript invitations, Editorial Board membership, reviewer membership, institutional affiliation, partnerships, sponsorship, Article Processing Charges, and APC waivers do not influence manuscript acceptance or rejection.

Final editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, peer-review evidence, and relevance to the aims and scope of IJMEBA.
