Publishing Schedule

JAMBAK: Jurnal Riset Manajemen, Bisnis, Akuntansi dan Ekonomi is published twice a year using a continuous publication model.

The journal publishes the following regular issues:

  • Volume X, Number 1: January–June

  • Volume X, Number 2: July–December

Continuous Publication and Issue in Progress

JAMBAK applies an Issue in Progress / Continuous Publication model.

Articles that have successfully completed the editorial process, peer review, revision, acceptance, copyediting, and production may be published online immediately within the currently active issue without waiting for all articles in that issue to be completed.

Accordingly:

  • Number 1 is active from January to June and is normally closed on 30 June.

  • Number 2 is active from July to December and is normally closed on 31 December.

Each article is assigned to the issue that is active at the time of its official publication.

Issue Closure

Once an issue has been formally closed and published as a completed issue, no new article will be added retrospectively to that issue.

Articles that complete the editorial and production process after an issue has been closed will be assigned to the next active issue.

JAMBAK does not insert, transfer, backdate, or reassign newly published articles to previously closed issues for the purpose of increasing the number of articles in an earlier issue.

This policy is intended to maintain the integrity, transparency, chronology, and traceability of the scholarly publication record.

Minimum Article Planning

The Editorial Team manages manuscript intake, peer review, acceptance, and production schedules to maintain an adequate number of scholarly articles in each regular issue.

JAMBAK aims to publish at least five scholarly articles in each regular issue, subject to the successful completion of the journal's editorial and peer-review requirements.

The minimum publication target does not override editorial quality, research integrity, peer-review standards, or publication ethics.

Manuscripts will not be accepted, accelerated, backdated, or reassigned merely to satisfy a publication quota.

Article Publication Date

The official publication date of each article is the date on which the article is formally published online in JAMBAK.

The publication date recorded in the journal system, article metadata, DOI metadata, and published galley must be consistent with the actual publication record.

JAMBAK does not use artificial or retrospective publication dates.

Article History

Published articles should display relevant editorial history, including:

  • Received

  • Revised

  • Accepted

  • Published / Available Online

These dates must correspond to the actual editorial and production records maintained in the journal management system.

Publication Frequency

Frequency: Biannual
Issues per year: 2 issues

Issue 1: January–June
Issue 2: July–December

JAMBAK may publish articles continuously within each active issue while maintaining its official biannual publication frequency.

Special Issues

JAMBAK may publish a special issue when academically justified and formally approved by the Editorial Team.

A special issue must:

  • remain within the aims and scope of JAMBAK;

  • follow the same peer-review and publication-ethics standards as regular issues;

  • maintain editorial independence;

  • clearly identify its theme and guest editor, where applicable; and

  • not replace the journal's regular publication schedule.

Editorial Commitment

JAMBAK is committed to maintaining a regular, transparent, and traceable publication schedule.

Publication timing does not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are published only after completing the required editorial evaluation, independent peer review, revision, acceptance, and production processes.

In addition, if a volume contains fewer than 5 articles, articles may be reassigned to the previous volume to ensure a minimum publication threshold is met.
