Archiving Policy

Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

Digital Preservation

JAMBAK: Jurnal Riset Manajemen, Bisnis, Akuntansi dan Ekonomi is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, integrity, and preservation of its published scholarly content.

The journal and its publisher, PT. Berkah Digital Teknologi, Indonesia, maintain digital copies of published articles and journal-related files through publisher-managed storage and backup infrastructure.

Digital preservation is intended to protect published content against accidental loss, technical failure, website disruption, data corruption, or other circumstances that may affect access to the journal's scholarly record.

Where appropriate and technically available, JAMBAK may participate in recognized digital-preservation services or repository networks. Any specific preservation service will be stated publicly only after the journal's participation or inclusion has been formally verified.

Publisher Backup

Published articles, article metadata, journal issues, and relevant publication files are maintained within the journal's publishing infrastructure.

Additional backup copies may be maintained through the publisher's internal repository and other controlled storage systems managed by PT. Berkah Digital Teknologi.

These preservation copies are intended to support restoration and continued access if the primary journal platform experiences technical failure or data loss.

Metadata Dissemination and External Discovery

JAMBAK supports the wider discovery and dissemination of its published scholarly content through relevant scholarly indexing, metadata, and discovery services.

Metadata may also be disseminated through GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital) and other legitimate scholarly information services where JAMBAK content is indexed or harvested.

The inclusion of JAMBAK metadata in an indexing or discovery service should not automatically be interpreted as a digital-preservation arrangement unless the relevant service explicitly provides archival preservation.

Persistent Identification

Where assigned, articles published by JAMBAK use Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to support persistent identification and reliable linking to the official article landing page.

The Editorial Office is responsible for maintaining consistency between article metadata displayed on the JAMBAK website and metadata registered with the DOI registration service.

Corrections to bibliographic metadata will be made when necessary to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

Repository Deposit and Self-Archiving Policy

JAMBAK supports open scholarly communication and permits authors to deposit appropriate versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, or other legitimate repositories, subject to the conditions described below.

1. Preprint Version

Authors may deposit the preprint version of their manuscript—that is, the version submitted before peer review—in:

  • institutional repositories;

  • subject repositories;

  • recognized preprint repositories; or

  • the author's personal academic website.

Authors should clearly indicate that the preprint has not yet undergone the formal JAMBAK peer-review and publication process.

If the manuscript is subsequently published in JAMBAK, authors are encouraged to update the repository record with the citation and DOI of the final published article.

2. Accepted Manuscript / Postprint

Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript, also known as the postprint, after the manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

The accepted manuscript is the author-approved version prior to final journal copyediting, typesetting, pagination, and production formatting.

When depositing an accepted manuscript, authors should include a statement indicating that the final version has been or will be published in:

JAMBAK: Jurnal Riset Manajemen, Bisnis, Akuntansi dan Ekonomi

and should provide the DOI or official article URL when available.

3. Published Version

Authors may deposit the final published version of their article, including the publisher-formatted PDF, in institutional or other legitimate scholarly repositories.

The deposited version must preserve the article's original:

  • title;

  • author information;

  • journal name;

  • volume and issue information;

  • publication year;

  • page range or article identifier;

  • DOI;

  • copyright statement; and

  • Creative Commons license information.

The original publication in JAMBAK must be properly acknowledged.

Citation of the Published Version

Authors depositing any accepted or published version should provide a complete citation to the final JAMBAK publication.

A recommended format is:

Author(s). (Year). Article title. JAMBAK: Jurnal Riset Manajemen, Bisnis, Akuntansi dan Ekonomi, Volume(Issue), page range. https://doi.org/[DOI]

Where a DOI has been assigned, authors should use the DOI link as the preferred persistent link to the published article.

Copyright and License

Articles published in JAMBAK are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) unless otherwise explicitly stated.

Under CC BY 4.0, authors and readers may share and adapt published material, including repository deposit and scholarly redistribution, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the author(s) and the original publication in JAMBAK.

Repository deposit must not remove or obscure copyright, licensing, DOI, or original publication information contained in the published article.

Preservation of Corrections and Retractions

JAMBAK is committed to preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

When a published article is subject to:

  • correction;

  • corrigendum;

  • erratum;

  • expression of concern; or

  • retraction,

the relevant notice will be linked to the original publication where technically possible.

The original scholarly record will not be silently removed or replaced when a transparent correction or retraction process is more appropriate.

Repository copies should, where possible, be updated or linked to the corrected status of the official version of record.

Version of Record

The Version of Record is the final article formally published on the official JAMBAK journal platform.

In the event of differences between repository versions, author manuscripts, or other copies and the official publication, the JAMBAK Version of Record and its associated correction notices constitute the journal's authoritative published record.

Policy Objective

Through this policy, JAMBAK aims to:

  • preserve scholarly content over the long term;

  • maintain the integrity and traceability of the published record;

  • support responsible open-access dissemination;

  • enable legitimate author self-archiving;

  • ensure persistent identification through DOI where assigned; and

  • improve the accessibility and discoverability of published research.
