JAMBAK: Jurnal Riset Manajemen, Bisnis, Akuntansi dan Ekonomi is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal focusing on the development and application of knowledge in management, business, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and applied business economics.

The journal provides an academic platform for empirical, conceptual, and review studies that contribute to the advancement of theories, managerial practices, business decision-making, organizational development, financial and accounting practices, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic and business development.

JAMBAK particularly welcomes research that addresses contemporary transformations in business and management, including digitalization, innovation, sustainability, artificial intelligence applications in business, changing consumer behaviour, organizational transformation, and the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The journal encourages studies with strong theoretical foundations, appropriate and rigorous methodologies, clear research contributions, and practical implications relevant to organizations, businesses, policymakers, and society.

Types of Manuscripts

JAMBAK considers:

  • Original empirical research articles;

  • Bibliometric studies with substantive theoretical contributions;

  • Other rigorous scholarly studies directly relevant to the journal's focus and scope.

Purely descriptive literature reviews without a clear analytical or theoretical contribution are generally not prioritized.

Scope Boundaries

To maintain a clear scholarly identity, JAMBAK generally does not consider manuscripts whose primary contribution falls outside management, business, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, or applied business economics.

Manuscripts primarily addressing the following areas are outside the journal's scope unless they explicitly investigate their managerial, business, financial, accounting, or economic implications:

Interdisciplinary manuscripts are welcome when their central research question, theoretical contribution, analysis, and implications clearly contribute to the core disciplinary scope of JAMBAK.

Geographic and Research Context

JAMBAK welcomes research from Indonesia and the international scholarly community. Comparative, cross-country, emerging-market, ASEAN, and global studies are particularly encouraged when they provide meaningful theoretical or managerial contributions.

The journal does not restrict submissions to a particular geographical region, industry, organizational type, or methodological approach.
